Transfer news LIVE! Neto wants Arsenal move; Chelsea FC set huge Leao price; Tottenham eye swoop for Adama Traore

Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham continue to try and add to their squads during the final few days of the window. At Stamford Bridge, Thomas Tuchel is spinning a number of plates, with pursuits of Anthony Gordon, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Rafael Leao all believed to be active as things stand. Wesley Fofana is another target, although the club’s most recent offer has been snubbed.

For Arsenal, Wolves winger Pedro Neto is a key target, even despite fears they could be priced out of a £50m move. Yeremy Pino, Moussa Diaby and Wilfried Zaha are also touted as potential targets as Mikel Arteta bids to increase his attacking options, while Youri Tielemans continues to be linked.

Tottenham, meanwhile, are thought to be chasing an extra attacker after a recent period of inactivity. Leeds star Daniel James is believed to be of interest, while Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech is thought to be another surprise target. Now, there are fresh reports suggesting Antonio Conte is once again keen on Adama Traore. Manchester United and Liverpool are also being linked with late moves with the likes of Leandro Paredes, Antony and Cody Gakpo. Follow all of the latest news, gossip and rumours below!

Youri Tielemans to Arsenal: Wage demands a concern

It seems impossible to imagine a situation in which Youri Tielemans stays at Leicester this summer.

A hugely talented player, the Belgian seemingly has little desire to sign a new contract at the King Power Stadium and his current deal expires in less than a year.

Leicester would surely sell should the right offer emerge but that has not been forthcoming, despite Arsenal’s long-standing interest.

According to the Sun, the player’s wage demands aren’t helping.

They suggest Tielemans is looking for around £200k-per-week.

Frenkie De Jong: Chelsea still keen on move

Ah, Frenkie De Jong.

The Dutchman has been linked with a move away from Barcelona all summer yet continues at the Camp Nou amid a backdrop of financial uncertainty.

Still, perhaps Chelsea could offer a late lifeline.

Journalist Dean Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “Chelsea have really been looking at their midfield and are still contemplating a big transfer in that area. Declan Rice and Frenkie de Jong are a couple of the players they have looked at and now they are studying which players might be on the table as we head into the last week of the window.”

Everton in talks with Man United over James Garner deal

With Casemiro arriving at Manchester United, James Garner’s chances of first-team football look even more remote.

Despite an impressive time of things on loan at Nottingham Forest last season, the midfielder has not been involved in the Premier League this season.

Tottenham were touted as a potential landing spot, although there has been fresh movement on his future.

According to The Athletic, Everton are in talks with United over a potential deal.

Ander Herrera set for Bilbao return

A cult-hero at Manchester United during his time there, Ander Herrera looks set for a new challenge.

The PSG midfielder has been told he can leave the French capital on a free transfer and had been linked with a move back to the Premier League.

Now, according to the Daily Mail, Herrera has made his decision.

After almost a decade away, Herrera looks set to return to Athletic Bilbao.

Cody Gakpo: PSV send message over Man United

Cody Gakpo continues to be linked with a move to Manchester United as Erik ten Hag looks to add more options to his squad.

Still, while United surely have the financial resource to tempt PSV into selling at some point, the Dutch side face a huge Champions League qualifier against Rangers in just a few hours’ time.

Ahead of the game, manager Ruud van Nistelrooy – a man with an obvious United connection – revealed he was “relaxed” over Gakpo’s future.

‘I think I am very relaxed about the situation,’ the United legend said in his pre-match press conference ahead of PSV’s Champions League play-off second leg against Rangers.

‘There have been rumours about him since the beginning of the season almost eight weeks ago. And we have not seen Cody changing his behaviour up to now.

Wesley Fofana: Chelsea not giving up on transfer

Chelsea will not give up their pursuit of Wesley Fofana, as they line up a late push to secure their key targets in the final week of the transfer window, writes Simon Collings.

The Blues also aim to agree deals for Anthony Gordon and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before the September 1 deadline.

Chelsea have had bids of £50million, £60m and £70m for Fofana rejected by Leicester, who are holding out for a world-record fee of more than £80m for the 21-year-old centre-back.

Leandro Paredes: Liverpool eye late move for PSG star

Much has been about Liverpool’s midfield options, with Jordan Henderson and James Milner doing little to convince against Manchester United on Monday night.

While Jurgen Klopp has stressed the club will not look into the market for short-term solutions, it’s difficult to imagine there is not a temptation.

According to TNT Sports, Liverpool could look to PSG in an effort to make a late move.

They claim the club are lining up a shock swoop on Argentina international Leandro Paredes.

Chelsea set huge Rafael Leao price

With Chelsea desperately looking to strengthen their attacking options during what remains of the transfer window, plenty of names are being linked.

Still, amid all of the frenzy, AC Milan star Rafael Leao is a name who refuses to go away.

Standard Sport understand the Portugal star is a target, while reports from Italy have offered further insight into the kind of price the Serie A champions would demand.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are looking for 150m euros, which roughly equatas to £126.4m.

West Ham eye ambitious late midfielder move to go with Vanaken

West Ham are interested in a loan deal for Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher as David Moyes looks to strengthen his midfield options before the transfer window closes.

The Hammers are also continuing to work on a move for Club Brugge captain Hans Vanaken after having an initial offer worth around £8million rejected.

West Ham are aware that a deal for Gallagher will be tough to complete, with Crystal Palace, Everton and Newcastle all rival suitors for the 22-year-old.

Manchester United prepare Antony bid

Erik ten Hag is eager to sign more attacking players this summer despite having a wealth of options up-front, so much so that Cristiano Ronaldo was left on the bench against Liverpool.

To that end, Ajax star Antony is understood to be one of the Dutchman’s key targets, with the pair having worked together in the Dutch capital.

While a bid was already been rejected, the Manchester Evening News suggest a new offer is on the way.
