Ronaldo set for seven-year Saudi deal

Cristiano Ronaldo’s deal with Al-Nassr will run for SEVEN years.

The first two-and-a-half will involve actually playing for the Saudi Arabian club, according to Marca.

A five-year spell as ambassador is then set to follow ahead of the deal being announced imminently – with an annual wage topping £175m.

Ronaldo will play a big role in the Saudi-Greek-Egyptian bid to host the 2030 World Cup.

Torres available for Arsenal switch?

Arsenal are confident of being able to do a deal for Ferran Torres.

The Barcelona winger has been the subject of renewed transfer rumours ahead of the January window.

And transfer journalist Dean Jones has reported on the increased sense in the Gunners camp that Torres will be available.

Chelsea join McKennie race

Chelsea have been linked with a move for Weston McKennie.

Italian newspaper La Stampa reports on the Blues and Borussia Dortmund monitoring the American midfielder, who Tottenham have long held an interest in.

A fee of £25m will be required to sign the Juventus player.

Arsenal and Spurs fight for Rabiot

Juventus want just £13.5m for Adrien Rabiot.

The France World Cup star is out of contract in June and La Repubblica have reported demands of £170,000-a-week for his next deal, which Juve will not pay.

Therefore, it is said Arsenal are ready to sit down and discuss a deal while Tottenham chiefs Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici are also intent on signing the midfielder.

Chelsea seal double deal

David Datro Fofana and Andrey Santos are set to sign for Chelsea.

The young forwards, 20 and 18 respectively, have agreed January transfers as part of the Blues’ continued push for young signings.

Newcastle and Manchester City had been tracking Vasco da Gama star Santos, who has been praised for his physicality and technique.

Arsenal boost in Mudryk talks

Arsenal have the green light to land Mykhaylo Mudryk in the January transfer window.

That is according to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, who has outlined the winger’s willingess to do a deal with the Gunners.

Shakhtar Donetsk have held out for £86m for Mudryk so far but could lower the fee once a replacement is signed.

And Brazilian outlet Globo say exactly that has been identified, in the form of Botafago forward Jeffinho at just £7m.
